Making colorectal cancer discoveries clear, accessible, and meaningful for patients, families, and care teams.

The Colorectal Cancer Outcomes Research team at the University of British Columbia leads studies on colorectal cancer and makes complex findings easier to understand.  We are dedicated to sharing both our research and colorectal cancer research from around the world in clear and accessible ways.

Our mission is to empower patients, families, and care teams to make informed choices, improve outcomes, and find hope in the journey ahead.

Our First Year of Impact

Colorectal cancer research keeps getting better — but most of it never reaches the people living with it. In one year, with no dedicated funding, CCOR turned dense science into 11 digest issues, 1,000+ subscribers, and 63,400+ video views. Inside: how a small UBC team built a bridge millions can cross.

A healthcare research annual report booklet titled '2025', featuring three smiling individuals in professional attire on the cover, is placed on a white surface next to a yellow dish holding a ruler, a pencil, a yellow flower-shaped accessory, and paper clips, with two yellow pens nearby.
