This was my way of staying connected. Over time, it went from quarterly updates to an annual newsletter that provided a timeline of research done over the year. On recent reflection, I realized that the original goal to connect has been lost as I am first to admit that the content is dense, jargon'y', and not accessible.
That is why I am so excited to be able to share our re-imagined newsletter. The goal is simple - make colorectal cancer research digestible by highlighting studies, many of which I have led, some by my amazing collaborators, and studies that I am reading.
And now, we're taking this mission even further. After months of bringing you insights through past issues, we've officially launched our YouTube channel! This expansion into video content means we can reach you in new and engaging ways - whether you're a visual learner, prefer consuming content on the go, or simply enjoy the video experience.
Our channel will feature the same high-quality, digestible research content you've come to expect from our newsletter, but in a dynamic video format. Every video we create serves our core mission: making colorectal cancer research accessible and understandable for everyone who needs it.
Here's how you can be part of this journey: Subscribe to our YouTube channel and help us build a larger community of like-minded individuals. When you like our videos, it signals to YouTube's algorithm that our content is valuable, which helps us reach more people who could benefit from what we share.
Every like, comment, and share makes a real difference in spreading our message and amplifying our impact.By supporting us on YouTube, you're not just getting great content in a new format, you're helping us connect with more people who are navigating their own colorectal cancer journeys, just like I did 10 years ago.
My invitations for connection:
Thank you for being such an incredible community. Your support means everything to us, and we can't wait to connect with you across both platforms!
With gratitude,
